Rosalyn (Semeraro) Williams, 78 of Milford, PA, formerly of Clifton, NJ, passed away suddenly at home after a long illness, on October 22, 2022. Born in Passaic, NJ to the late Anthony and Elda (Rosolen) Semeraro, she lived in Clifton until 2002 when she relocated to Milford. A parishioner of St. Patrick's RC Church, Milford, Roz was also a former parishioner of St. Paul RC Church, Clifton, where she was a CCD teacher and headed the Senior Outreach program. Roz had worked as an office manager for Ray Sauers Associates, Clifton NJ, for 15 years before retiring in 2004. She was an administrative assistant at the RC Diocese of Paterson for many years. She had also worked at Continental Maid, TA Miller, Podell Industries, and Bright Star. Roz was welcoming to all people, and was dedicated and generous to those she held dear. She was a tireless advocate for those close to her who were sick, helpless, vulnerable, hurt, or betrayed. Her inner strength, resolve, and strong faith helped her to endure many years of chronic illness and family tragedies. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, her many flower gardens, nature, antiques, music, playing cards, handicrafts, mystery shows, Pike County Senior social activities. Her honesty and openness endeared her to many. Loving mother of James T., Jr. of Newton NJ; dear sister of Anthony J. Semeraro, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Georgetown, DE; Nancy Evanina and her husband Frank of Haskell, NJ; dear sister-in-law of Lorraine Semeraro of Clifton, NJ. Predeceased by cherished husband of 56 years James T. Williams; beloved son Edward Michael Williams; dear brother Louis Semeraro and niece Diane Semeraro. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Roz had requested contributions to Scleroderma Foundation Tri-State Binghamton NY (scleroderma.org/tri-state-chapter), or the Tri-State Pregnancy Center Milford PA (www.tristatepregnancycenter.org), in her memory. www.ShookFH.com
