Stock Market Closing Bell: BULLS Spring Back! Sensex zooms 1272 points from day's low, Nifty settles at 22147; Bank Nifty adds over 1%
The benchmark equity indices ended week's last trading session with gains. The BSE Sensex climbed 599.34 points or 0.83 per cent to settle at 73,088.33, while the NSE Nifty50 jumped 151.15 points or 0.69 per cent to 22,147. The Bank Nifty index climbed as much as 504.70 points or 1.07 per cent to settle at 47,574.15. Among the other sectoral indices, Financial Services, Metal, Private Bank, FMCG and Auto stocks settled with gains, while IT, PSU Bank, Pharma, and Realty stocks ended in red.

An explosion was heard early Friday in Iran’s central city of Isfahan, Iran's Fars news agency reported, citing local sources. The cause of the blast is unknown, according to the report.
