Lenovo Xiaoxin 100 cheaper 1080p projector with 700 ANSI lumens brightness unveiled
The Lenovo Xiaoxin 100 projector is now available to pre-order in China. The 1080p projector can throw images from 60 to 150-in (~152 to 381 cm) wide thanks to a 1.25:1 throw ratio. An LED light source has up to 700 ANSI lumens brightness and a life expectancy of 30,000 hours. The gadget has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio with support for HDR10.
Automatic focus and keystone correction tools quickly perfect the image when the Xiaoxin 100 is powered up. You can control the settings via the accompanying remote control or the smartphone app and use AI voice commands to search for content. You can wirelessly cast content from Android, iOS and Windows devices as the gadget has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Alternatively, you can connect via various ports, including USB 2.0 and HDMI. The device has two built-in 5 W speakers with support for Dolby Audio technology, and Lenovo claims that the projector’s running noise is less than 30 dB.
The gadget measures 252 x 256 x 107 mm (~9.9 x 10.0 x 4.2-in) and weighs 2 kg (~4.4 lbs). You can currently pre-order the Lenovo Xiaoxin 100 projector in China for 1,199 yuan (~US$164) with a 100 yuan deposit (~US$14). The device is available in Cherry Blosson White or Storm Ash (black/gray) and is expected to retail for 1,499 yuan (~US$205) in the future.
