Amd radeon software instal error 1603

Hello, i'm french so sorry in advance for my english.

Since the last AMD Driver uptade i get the error 1603, i did everything that was said but nothing worked.

That's why i comme to the community to see if someone cloud help me ( i can put the logs of the installation).

Rx 6600 (almost new) but same probleme with a rx 590,
Ryzen 5 2600

Try running DDU in safe mode. Then use the latest recommended drivers (these have less issues than optional).

The last driver run well is just Amd radeon software installation seems not working so i will wait for the next update (if i don't have this driver update i can't play MW2 beta so i am force to have this driver for my graphic card ^^)

The driver installer should've extracted the files to C:/AMD. Maybe you can manually install it using device manager. Will check what specific file you need to install tomorrow.

Are you trying to install new 22.9.1 on top of a older version already installed?

 

Best to uninstall/ remove old version first (i.e. using DDU). Then install the newer 22.9.1.

 

It is typically not recommended that you install on top of old...as it can cause some errors / bugs, both AMD and nVidia alike.

Il est préférable de désinstaller/supprimer d'abord l'ancienne version (c'est-à-dire en utilisant DDU). Installez ensuite la nouvelle version 22.9.1.

 

Il n'est généralement pas recommandé d'installer par-dessus l'ancien... car cela peut provoquer des erreurs/bogues, à la fois AMD et nVidia.

Yes i did try to use DDU in safe mod but nothing work for me...
